The International Latino Book Award has published its shortlist for this year's best book. Aguacerando: Mitologías domésticas de lo que nunca fuimos has been selected among the winners. This is a book written in pain, reflecting the loneliness of the pandemic, a glimpse into my (broken) childhood, and the story of colonialism in my country. All that in the evolving cycles of water, from its downfall to evaporation. This book is made with the fabric of cumulonimbus clouds.

Congratulations to the other finalists.
